We would meet where all the locals meet....
In the heart of the city centre and next to the Triple Bridge, join me under the statue of France Prešern,
Slovenia's greatest and most famous poet.
If it's warm enough I suggest we meet on the stairs leading towards the entrance of the Franciscan Church.
These stairs are a beautiful place to sit down and relax for a few moments and see the always vibrant Prešern Square from a height. Welcome to Ljubljana!

Our walk then depends on the season, weather or you! What are your wishes, requests, interests?
Ljubljana has the advantage that it's easily accessible and manageable and it offers a lot of possibilities, indoors and outdoors.
I am flexible and open to discussing all your suggestions. Are we all set? Then let's go!

Explore the tastes and scents from the central market, take a walk through different neighborhoods (Old Center, Art Nouveau area, Plecnik's path, the alternative Metelkova zone, old fashioned Prule and Krakovo among many), each from a different era, each with it's own beauties and impressions. The Ljubljanica River enters the city heart where a second channel makes a shortcut behind Ljubljana Castle Hill where it later meets the main channel again. If you like photography, then we share a passion. I can show you the most photogenic places in the centre or on the outskirts of Ljubljana. I'll tell you when to be there and will point out hidden paths. You haven't heard about the excellent wines in Slovenia? No worries, I am here to show you some true Slovenian gems. Prepare to visit a proper wine cellar in the centre of Ljubljana and taste some really good vino! Another crazy thought just occurred. Do you know about the Blood of a Bear? the Teardrop of Golden-horn? or Human Fish Beer? You'll love them!

Not only Ljubljana, I know many interesting sights, natural wonders, beautiful paths, cultural places, remarkable restaurants and family run taverns near Ljubljana and all over Slovenia. Let's visit them!

There are so many possibilities that I suggest that you contact me through email. Don't forget to include dates when will you be in Ljubljana / Slovenia, where are you staying (if you know already), how many persons and of course write down your special interests. I will respond with a couple of suggestions for what to do on those days (I will let you know if there are any traditional festivities going on), point out what not to miss and recommend a few possible trips.

Christina (Malaysia) - "Just finished my Ljubljana walking experience with Tjasa and all I can say is she's lovely!"
Christina (Malaysia) - "Just got back from my day trip with Tjasa to Postojna Caves and area.
I'd such an amazing time. Tjasa is a gem!"

Leonard & Judy (Canada) - "The initial walk of Ljubljana provided by Tjasa provided an excellent orientation to the city and its many attractions".

Spyro & Kathy (USA) -"Tjasa took us on a personal tour of the old city, answered all our questions and gave us a sense for her city and country that we won't forget. It was quite clear to us that you love Slovenia and Ljubljana and we can certainly see why. It is indeed a beautiful city and country. If your travels take you to California someday be sure to let us know so we can return the hospitality. By the way, the jewel shop that you recommended (Kamen) had exactly what Cathy wanted and the restaurant was awesome (Gujzina)! We enjoyed a truly special meal there; the server was also really into their food and he shared several insights about each dish. Thanks!"

Tjasa is a licenced guide in English and Spanish! :)
