This Season's
Slovenian Ski Resort Information

Skiing is a national pastime in Slovenia, so it's no surprise to see the slopes buzzing with activity once the season begins. In comparison to the nearby resorts in Italy, Austria and Switzerland, Slovenia's ski resorts may be seem to lack in sophistication and apres-ski facilities but make up for it with cheaper prices, shorter queues and the knowledge that in most cases you'll be mixing it with the locals rather than the international jetset crowd.

Having said that, Slovenia's ski resorts are far from shabby. The larger resorts have great facilities and are well maintained. Throw in some amazing views and you're all set for a great holiday!

So what are you waiting for? Have a browse through the ski resorts and find a ski resort that suits you.

The 10-seat gondola will take visitors to the summit all year round, including during the summer, when mountain cyclists will get their turn to enjoy the bike park, which was designed in collaboration with world-renowned Whistler Gravity Logic from Canada.

The range of summer attractions will also include a theme park, well-groomed hiking trails along the ridge with stellar views all the way from the Adriatic to Triglav, and something for the history buff, too, in the form of a restored watchtower, bunkers, and other relics from the war.
