Our transfer partner will pick you up from your accommodation in Ljubljana or Bled or similar and take you into the majestic Julian Alps.
You can plan exactly where you want to go beforehand but the vibe is always relaxed allowing flexibility as you go!
A sample day might involve something like this -
From Ljubljana head past Kranjska Gora where the famous Vršič Pass starts. It twists and turns and opens up to provide amazing views of the Alps.
Mount Špik provides a breathtaking stop before you reach the summit at 1611m. Heading downwards the Soča Valley awaits and you are soon driving alongside the famous emerald river of the same name.
Reaching Bovec there is the chance to climb the cable car to Mount Kanin, the highest ski resort in Slovenia! The Boka Falls are also visible as we head onto Kobarid.
Kobarid has some special falls of their own, the magical Kozjak. A rocky path leads you there past the rushing Soča and bunkers provide memories of the brutal first world war. These memories are well documented at the WW1 Museum in town. Quite a moving experience. Kobarid has more than its fair share of award winning restaurant (yes, everyone has heard of Hiša Franko now!).
On the way back perhaps a detour to the Kluze Fortress and the tranquil Lake Predel. What an amazing day. Thank you Sloveniaforyou!
